The Morgantown Home Show is a fantastic opportunity for homeowners or landlords to connect with over 100 exhibitors — contractors, retailers and experts. The home show is at the Mylan Park Expo Center.

We invite you to come and visit us. Meet our highly qualified staff and learn about our in-house manufacturing process.

We look forward to meeting you and showing you how we exceed expectations with quality workmanship, high quality design and custom cut countertops.

Before you visit us, we encourage you to start researching the surfaces we manufacture in house. Quartz, Granite, Marble and Solid Surface — what’s the difference? Which one is best? How do you pick?

Granite: Granite is timeless — it’s stunning natural patterns and colors make each piece unique. It’s durable, making it resistant to knife nicks, water and heat. Granite is heavy, so the cabinet boxes must be sturdy to sufficiently support the weight (although, this is rarely an issue).

Marble: The ultimate in luxury, marble is elegant and traditional. Marble is resistant to heat and is a superior choice for avid chefs — it stays cool year round, making it a great surface for food preparation. While beautiful, marble is susceptible to staining and isn’t immune to chips and scratches.

Quartz: Low maintenance and available in a wide variety of patterns and colors, quartz is durable and attractive. Created from quartz chips and resin, it has the aesthetic qualities of natural stone with the easy care of solid surfacing. Quartz is non-porous, making it resistant to staining and also easy to completely sanitize, an important consideration in a kitchen or bathroom.

Solid Surface: First manufactured under the brand name Corian, solid surfacing is a man-made surface created from polyester and acrylic. It requires very little maintenance and is resistant staining; however, it is susceptible to scratches and burns (although these are easy to sand and repair). With a myriad of pattern and color options, solid surfacing is a great way to completely personalize your project.

Don’t forget to bring a notebook and pen when you come to visit us. Come with a list of questions — we’re happy to answer anything about our quartz, marble, granite and solid surface custom countertops. Use the following list as a starting point.

  • How long have you been in business?
  • Do you have examples of other projects similar to mine?
  • Have your previous customers provided testimonials of your work?
  • Who can I talk to if I have more questions?
  • Where do you source your materials from?
  • What qualifications do you require your employees to have?
  • Does your work have a warranty/guarantee?

Before you visit, establish a realistic budget for you project. We’ll be able to give you a more accurate idea of what you can afford if you’re able to provide your price range.

We know that the last thing you’ll want to when you get home is keep talking about surfaces. That’s why we recommend going to a great local restaurant for a snack (and maybe a beer) to review your options.

Rank the surfaces and edges in order of initial preference and make notes about what you like most about each one. Write down any follow up questions — and then relax.

This year, at the Morgantown Home Show, we will be releasing details about our new special.

Come and find out about this amazing deal!
